About Mackenzie

I have a passion for working with children and have been caring for them since I was 14 years old. I've cared for children ranging from 13 days old to 13 years old. I have done part time babysitting as well as full time nannying. During these positions, in addition to caring for the children I have done light cooking, provided transportation for the children to various activities (both scheduled activities as well as things for us to do together such as museums, parks, etc.), and provided homework assistance. Other experiences I've had working with children include life-guarding, volunteering at Art Camps, and volunteering at Vacation Bible School. During my time life-guarding, I taught swim lessons to children of all ages. I enjoy coming up with new activities for kids such as new games, arts and crafts, and anything to get them outside! In my free time I love to read, play tennis, hike, take pictures, and travel! I am currently a Clinical Psychology PhD student at UofL!
