During the week I am an Assistant Preschool Teacher where I supervise seven 3-4-year-old children. I have several combined years of experience working with children as a babysitter, private Nanny, for Kids Peace (Child Psychiatric Services) and a Mother Baby Technician. I have other professional experiences from Receptionist experience to Law Enforcement- as well. Right after high school I went to Kutztown University where I majored in Fine Arts and minored in Crafts; I enjoy the arts and silly crafts, safe science experiments, supervising outside play & Pinterest. I am fond of learning and have since amassed 57 college credits and will be returning to either finish a degree, obtain a CDA (Child Development Associate) Cert. or both. Currently, I have my CPR/ First Aid/ AED, Child Abuse, NSOR & FBI Background Check Clearances. I like experimenting in the kitchen, writing music and in the summer months- kayaking at Beltzville Lake or treasure hunting at antique stores.

We initially hired Mackenzie as our part-time Nanny for our (at the time) 15 mo. Sold and 3 year old for just over a one year commitment. We picked Mackenzie out of the many applicants we received because of her calming disposition, CPR certification, college credits and assortment of Early Childhood related clearances. We felt our children were in safe hands in her care. Once Mackenzie started working with us, we knew we made the right choice. Not only did she establish a routine for the children, everyday she came prepared with lesson plans aimed to help advance them academically, brought creative activities to expand their understanding. We could not have asked for a better Nanny. Mackenzie is patient, understanding, kind, thoughtful, routine driven, responsible, communicative— everything we wanted. I was recently asked to write a letter of recommendation on her behalf and happily obliged. Mackenzie is a fantastic Nanny. I would recommend her services.
