About Mackenzie

Hi! I'm Mackenzie! I am a sophomore at Oklahoma State University, studying Elementary Education. I have a passion for nurturing the growth and development of young children. I have been caring for children for over six years, gaining valuable experience as a babysitter, nanny, and assistant preschool teacher. I also drew from my student teaching experiences, which provided me with hands-on classroom experience. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my creativity and friendly nature, allows me to connect easily with children. I prioritize open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's day and promptly addressing any concerns. I am confident in enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. From engaging in outdoor sports and physical games to enjoying board games and puzzles, I strive to make learning fun and interactive. I am comfortable caring for multiple children and am happy to assist with light housekeeping tasks.
