I am not a certified therapist by any means, however, I did grow up with a brother who has Down Syndrome. Not only do I feel capable of managing most abilities, but I grew up learning something new about adapting to my brothers needs and how to make him happy. My first job was working for a camp that only tended to humans with all disabilities! I changed diapers, adjusted feeding tubes, and learned whatever I could in that short amount of time. Although this was a while ago, I believe these experiences got me to where I am today. If you any further questions, I'd be more than happy to answer. I am not looking for a permanent position but I would be able to take jobs on the weekends or afternoons when I do not have class!
