I love teaching kids new things and being able to put a smile on their face at the end of the day. I'm looking for a job that has some flexibility with the hours and a healthy environment to work in. I started working with kids when I was in middle school and became a full time nanny when I was 16. I try my best to teach the kids good communication skills between them and their siblings or parents. One thing that I've learned as a nanny is that it is sometimes harder for kids to express how they're feeling or express what they think. I work problems out and talk through a reasonable solution so they understand. My skills include patients for when the kids get frustrated or annoyed with their siblings or parents. One of my other skills is problem-solving, I work through problems with kids so they can find a good way to solve any problem they come across. Another one of my top skills is learning, because even though I teach the kids, I also learn things from the kids as well.
