About Macey

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, inquisitive, and goofy. I like working with kids because I believe it is beneficial to establish a connection with kids of the younger generation. It is through teaching and caring for children that we learn from them ourselves. I'm looking for a job that offers reasonable pay, presents a set work schedule, and has a welcoming family. I started working with kids in October of 2023 through the America Reads/Counts Federal Work Study Program. I work as an after-school tutor for children k-2. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with my family and friends, write poems, and listen to music. One thing you should know about me is I am great at creating interactive learning activities like spelling bees, sight word relays, and acting out children's books. My skills include athleticism, communication, and organization.
