I'm an energetic and responsible caretaker who recently moved to Lafayette and will be attending graduate school in Denver! I graduated from Hampshire College in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in education and youth studies. I also completed graduate work at UMASS in early childhood education with a thesis in how adults could build more equitable relationships with young people. Some of my previous jobs have included therapeutic outdoor educator, Pre-K-12 social-emotional learning teacher, wellness counselor in a middle/high school, daycare assistant, and a nanny for several families through care. com including neurodivergent kids. I work from a positive attachment, strengths-based and trauma responsive lens. Some of my other interests are rock climbing, hiking, yoga, painting, playing guitar, puzzles and board games. Mac watched our 4 year old boy from last September to this past summer. She always brought lots of imaginative games and did new things with him all the time. He said she was super fun, listened to him and that he liked how many things she played with him. Mac was always responsive to our texts when scheduling changes arose and let us know when she was sick which was very important to us as a covid-safe family. We would recommend Mac to anyone!
