About Macconnell

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, kind, patient, I like caring for seniors because as an occupational therapy assistant, I worked in many settings and found the most satisfaction working with seniors. I grew to appreciate that with age circumstances change. They mourn the loss of independence and have been able to provide training to maintain their independence primarily with their own self care. I will not be practicing occupational therapy in this role, rather will be a caregiver, and support to family members I'm looking for a job that is part time, with availability after work, weekends I started caring for seniors 30 years ago. In my spare time, spending time with friends, family, cook, walk, crafts One thing you should know about me is I am CPR certified, have dementia experience My skills include medication management, dementia, use/set up of durable medical equipment
