MAT trained. I started my babysitting career in 2019; however, since my little brother was five, I've cared for him. My little brother has more than 20 different food allergies, asthma, a learning delay, ADD, as well as severe eczema. In 2019, I took a break from Regent University to discover that this is where God has called me to be: a teacher. From 2022 to 2023, I worked at Lightbridge Academy as a Teacher Assistant; I worked with Infants to5-year-olds. Currently, I work with elementary students for the Parks and Recreation after-school program and care for a military family with an infant and toddler. As a teacher, caring for others' children comes with the title since no child is the same, patience is a must, and every day is a new learning experience. I love working with children because they offer me lessons and advice I never knew I needed.
