I highly recommend Lynn Z. as a tutor. I hired Lynn as a private tutor for my two daughters (fourth and first graders, respectively) online here at Care.com. The interview process was impressive and noteworthy. Lynn exceeded all our prerequisites in regards to loving kids, possessing a strong background as a teacher of Language Arts (including reading critically, phonics, grammar, writing). She has great Math and Spanish competencies and knows about grade level learning skills essential for development. Within 4 weeks of her tutorial, my daughter's grades improved significantly by one letter grade. I owe that to Ms. Lynn! Lynn also has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely resourceful (providing age appropriate curriculum), reliable, attentive, creative & artistic, and computer literate. Her ability to engage effectively with my daughters and make them think knowledgeably is critical. Also, she provides library books from award winner lists (Caldecott and Newbery) helping my girls read more. In truth, my girls look forward to seeing her every week without complaints of studying. She has accomplished the simplest and greatest of tasks - the Love of Learning . I recommend Lynn Z. without reservation.
