I am currently caring for an 85-year-old stroke patient who is paralyzed on her left side. I assist in transferring, bathroom and dressing and preparing for bed. I prepare all meals (bake home made bread) take care of laundry and light cleaning. I will also do landscaping and care for flowers and just about anything that is needed of me. I also provide companionship. I have cared for family members who have had cancer and strokes. I always treat people with respect with emphasis on dignity.
