I truly have an extra warm spot in my heart for those less gifted. My 11 years as a teaching assistant was with the special education department of Palisades School Dist., at Tinicum Elementary School. My 1st nanny position was for a family with 3 little girls when I started. Their 2nd daughter has Down Syndrom. She was 2 years old then and had already started an educational program. During my 14-year tenure, I formed a very strong and lasting bond with this lovely young lady and was one of her proudest supporters celebrating her high school graduation. Since that family finally outgrew me (with many tears all around), I've worked with one boy with severe behavior, emotional, and learning disabilities and another with mild autism. In these positions, I always felt grateful in being called to help a family needing some extra "special" love and care. Thank you, Lynn

Lynn cared for my infant son for over 6 months. She was so great with him and I felt so comfortable leaving for work every day knowing that he was in her care. She would text me updates throughout the day and when I would get home from work, she'd have a detailed "report" of how his day went (naps, eating schedule, diapers, etc.) My son had RSV/asthma starting at 3 months so he required nebulizer treatments almost daily. She was great with the treatments. She also left my house spotless, which was a relief after coming home from work. I knew I could spend time playing with my son instead of washing bottles or tidying up! I fully recommend her for caring for children of any age. She is a natural!
