About Lynn

As a parent and home educator for my son for almost 10 years, while also tutoring other students, I have been so thrilled to see the successful completion of their primary education goals. I love seeing some of my students who struggled with their abilities to succeed in math, actually see that they COULD succeed and to do that so well that they graduated from high school as Honor Roll students! And now they're off to college, not having seen that for themselves way back as those middle school students. I was a provisionally certified middle school math teacher (grades 5-9) as well as a substitute teacher in the public schools until 2018. At that time, I needed a medical break but have now returned to tutoring. I'm so excited to support you and your child's needs!

Lynn has been a lifesaver with helping me homeschool my 12yo in 6th grade math. My child has ADHD and was getting restless listening to me teach him all day. Lynn came to the rescue. She's knowledgeable about math skills and curriculum and is very patient with my child. She knew what curriculum to use, has implemented what I already had on hand, and keeps him engaged and assigns homework to keep skills fresh in his mind. Lynn is also tutoring my 14yo in 8th grade math. She supports my 8th grader in online schooling and has been able to give in-person time and attention to help understand math concepts. She has given my children the confidence they need to do well in math! Lynn is kind, personable and has been a great asset in assisting our children!
