I'd describe my personality as honest, kind, caring. I feel I can be a special light in a seniors life and make their day & life brighter. I'm looking for a job that I can be helpful in making their life easier, just being there to help them in their daily activities. Having a kind & caring person by their side can add a lot to a seniors life & add so much to their day & their life & well being. I started caring for seniors when my mother in law became ill. I retired early from Veterans Hospital in the health care field & it was then I had the opportunity to spend every day caring for her. Soon my mother needed help and after my mother I've had dozens of other seniors I've worked for. In my spare time, I like to spend my time with my family. I enjoy home decorating and am always finding new projects. I enjoyed refinishing old furniture, enjoy flea markets and antique stores. One thing you should know about me is I would treat your family member as if they were my own family.
