About Lynn

I have taken care of seniors with various health conditions such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Strokes, Diabetes, Physical impairments needing assistance with mobility and transfers and have had three (3) seniors that needed end of life comfort and care. I feel that the emotional health is as important as the physical. I try to develop a relationship with clients so I can read them better and know what they need to make their day better. I find in the beginning of implementing a care plan that some may resist having a stranger in their home. I find that many find a comfort zone with a bit of humor to distract them from being embarrassed about accepting assistance. It is so rewarding to see a smile or know that I've made their day a better one! I prepare meals and perform general housekeeping duties including laundry. Assist with daily medications as directed. Experience with incontinence and assist with dressing and bathing.
