Hello! My name is Lynette, and I have been working with children for over 10 years. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language, and am currently a first grade special education teacher to 6 students in Hyde Park. I have a lot of experience with people who have special needs, and have worked specifically with kids on the Autism spectrum, Fragile X syndrome, ADHD, Joubert Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, epilepsy, diabetes, Down Syndrome, and much more. I am interested in Occupational Therapy and have a lot of fine/gross motor skill building activities for younger kids, and my psychology background tends to help a lot with behavioral management. I play music and do a lot of arts and crafts myself, so I love leading such activities with kiddos. I am quite organized and tidy, so scheduling and light clean up will not be a problem. I also dogsit on the side, so pets are always a plus!
