My name is Lynda. I am married with two boys ages 25and 20 and I have lived in Wading River for 25 years. I was blessed to be a stay at home mom for many years. However due to the struggling economy a friend of mine convinced me to try house cleaning. With that I started working in senior communities. Within the first year I realized that some seniors need more assistance than just housekeeping. I began my new venture with a senior who has Multiple Sclerosis. My daily duties included bathing, shopping, doctor appointments, cooking, etc. By doing so I realized I had a passion for this type of work. Over the last 10 years some of my cleaning clients have hired me to assist them with their daily needs plus referring me to other seniors in need. Although I am not certified I have been told it takes more than certification to be kind, caring and compassionate. References available.
