About Lyla

Hi! I'm Lyla i'm 22 and I just graduated from CSULB this May with my BA in English Literature. During my time in undergrad I also took some child development courses as I am working on my teaching credential. I also work for EDCOE as a substitute teacher. I love being active outdoors, reading and writing, art, singing, and overall fostering creativity while also working on sustainable life skills with the kids I work with! I am looking for a consistent schedule. I am open to either part or full-time based on when I am needed. My base rate is $18/hr but that is subject to change based on factors we can discuss together! I have nannied for one family, the children both being under 4, that was an on call position for 2 years. My other experience includes being the oldest of 3 (big sisters will know what i'm talking about), while in undergrad I also worked in an after school program with a class of 2nd graders as well as aided in a special education high school classroom.
