I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. Having been the oldest child of a single-teenage mother of four, I understand the importance of a helping hand. As a creative and friendly caregiver with one year of experience, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children and help families the way my mom needed help. I keep parents regularly updated on their child's day through written daily reports or text/phone calls, whichever they prefer. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead. My favorite games to play with children include educational games that promote learning, board games and puzzles, and outdoor sports and physical games. I am comfortable caring for one child and have taken courses in Early Childhood Education and Early Child Development. Besides English, I also speak basic Spanish. I am willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel.
