I am a graduate from Ball State University where I studied Child Development. I have had over 12 years of experience working with children; including multiple children at a time, infant care, and I have worked with children with special needs. After college I worked part-time for a company where I engaged with children ages 2-5 teaching fun curriculum through multi-sensory activities and incorporating sign language. I'm currently a nanny for a family and their 2 children. In my future I am working towards engaging myself in opportunities and experiences where I continue to gain experience working with children, helping them learn and develop, while creating bonds and memories to carry into the future. I am currently looking for evening sitting opportunities to continue gaining experience with a variety of children and families!

Lydia cared for our 3 month old son while we were in Indianapolis for a volleyball tournament. Being from out of town, we were hesitant about getting childcare from a stranger but Lydia was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we first spoke over the phone, she put my mind at ease and seeing how lovingly and competently she cared for our son only reinforced out trust in her. Lydia is very thoughtful. She was careful to keep track of our son's medications, sleep and feedings so that I could know just how his day had gone. Our son is pretty sensitive but Lydia did a wonderful job soothing him and following our wishes for naps and feedings. She is incredibly thoughtful and always found ways to go the extra mile to take care of not just my son but our whole family. For example, on our last day in town, she made sure she got him ready for his nap clicked into his car seat in the stroller so we wouldn't have to transfer him at all when we got back to head to the airport. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Lydia again. She is a true gem!
