About Lydia

I have 4 years of experience working in a preschool with children between the ages of 2-5, but even before then, I had multiple years of experience volunteering at summer camps and weeklong childcare programs involving children of all ages. I also have 2+ years of paid experience teaching various community education classes to children ages 6-12. I have lots of experience and skill in conflict resolution between children as well as adapting to children's special needs. I am very attentive to the emotions of the children under my care and they are always taken into account when I am communicating with them. From my job at the preschool, I have completed numerous online training courses on nurturing the growth of preschool aged children and have been able to employ all of those skills and knowledge in my work every day. I am very attentive to where each child is in their social, emotional, and intellectual development and that is what always plays the key role in how I provide care.
