Hello! I am a Senior at Purdue University studying Art Education. I am currently student teaching and getting ready to graduate in May. I am opening my availability back up for the summer for April 29th through about May 31st. A little about me: I have been nannying for about 4 years and have worked with a wide age range of children. I have experience working at a daycare for about 1. 5 years and am CPR certified. I would describe myself as a enthusiastic, creative, and compassionate when it comes to working with kids. I enjoy being active and engaged when working with kids. Whether we stay inside to play board games, puzzles, create scavenger hunts, create art or get outside to ride bikes, go for a walk, or play a sport. Lydia was fantastic! This was our first time using care.com. She was able to watch our kids in a hotel for 12 hours! We were ok with exploring the town and swimming, but due to a storm, they were stuck inside. Our kids are not easy when stuck in one room with each other, but they both shared they had so much fun with Lydia! I’m sure she had her hands full, but she never made me feel like my kids were a burden. Being several hours from home, I wasn’t worried one bit! I would highly recommend her!
