I love working with kids because they can always make me smile and laugh! I worked as a preschool gymnastics coach for a year and a half. Every time I was at work, my day was brightened by the jokes and stories of my gymnasts. I loved helping them learn new skills and play games in the gym. As a coach, I ran 30-45 minute classes with groups of 6-8 children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. I also volunteered monthly as an assistant preschool Sunday school teacher at my church for about a year and a half. I got to help children play together, give them snacks, and teach them short lessons. The kids I have supervised brought me joy with their bubbly personalities. I am excited to bring that joy back into my life again with babysitting.

Lydia spent the summer caring for our three spirited children; she helped them read and study each day (to avoid any summer slump), played board games, had them outside, and took them to the pool! We really wanted to avoid having them just sit on devices all summer long, and she made sure they stayed active and had fun. Lydia made it a fun and productive summer—our family would highly recommend her!
