Hi! My name is Lydia! Some of my experiences working with special needs is I grew up with a sister who had SMA, two younger siblings with Down Syndrome and a younger brother with Cerebral Palsy. I've helped take care of my sister who has SMA( spinal muscular atrophy) she needed lots of hands on care. So that meant I took her to the bathroom, wiped her, gave her baths, got her feeding tube ready, got her ready for bed and dressed her. I also traveled to England to be a personal care taker for a college student who had SMA. I also worked for almost two years as a RBT with kids who had autism or behavioral problems! I like to think I have a lot of experience! I can't wait to meet you and your family!
