About Lydia

Hello! Like many people, I love animals. Unlike most people, I have professional education and experience in animal care-taking. I graduated in December 2016 with a Bachelor's in Conservation Biology (aka plants, animals, and the environment). Since then I have worked for zoo's, national parks/forests, etc, and many times these jobs have included taking care of animals. Specifically regarding pets, I have been pet sitting and care taking since I was in college. Last year I rented a room from a woman who had two dog sled teams. I had reduced rent because I would dog sit for her when she was out of town. She had 14 huskies. That's a lot of dogs! I always kept them happy and healthy, and loved them dearly. I also have experience volunteering for local shelters with pets from all backgrounds. Let me know if I can answer any specific questions!
