About Lydia

Hello, families! I am a certified Elementary and Early Childhood teacher in Oklahoma and Colorado. I earned my education degree from Oral Roberts University and graduated May 2018. For two years, I worked as a 3rd grade teacher in a Title 1 school, serving a high English Learner population. My additional training includes basic trauma-informed instruction and cognitive skill development. For homeschool families, I support with assessments and personalized curriculum enhancements to strengthen students' critical thinking skills, to incorporate student interests, and to apply knowledge in real-life contexts. I also support families with developing systems for homeschool structure, data collection, and schooling accountability. I have strong connection skills with multiple types of personalities and can keep kids constantly engaged in activity & learning!
