I am a mother of two children. My oldest child was born at 28 weeks and so my journey began with being an advocate for my son and his health care needs. I later became a Service Coodinator in Early Intervention and than a Special Instructor/Special Education Teacher for Birth to 5 years old. I am taking a leave of absence from Early Intervention to receive my Masters Degree in Special Education. I have work with my own child with special needs and special health care needs (allergies, asthma, feeding tube, and injections) In the field I have work with children in their natural environment that have special needs such as mild hearing loss, ADD, ADHD, Early Intervention, and Autism. I am passionate about because I love to accept a challenge and encourage the child to take the next steps necessary to reach their goal.
