About Luz

Hello! My name is Luz, and I'm a CNA with over 13 years of experience caring for the elderly and disabled. I've worked in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and provided private in-home care. I'm certified in CPR, administering medication, and caring for Alzheimer's & Dementia patients. My last client passed away in November, and I now work at an assisted living facility. However, I wish to return to in-home care for its personalized nature and closer patient relationships. My last patient couldn't speak and walked slowly. By incorporating activities like reading, puzzles, mini-golf, music, and physical exercises, his awareness and physical condition improved significantly. I can provide his wife as a reference, who saw his progress. I'd love to provide specialized care to improve someone's life and bring joy, motivation, and hope to them and their loved ones.
