About Luzia

As a certified teacher with over 15 years of childcare experience, I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. My friendly, patient, and creative nature allows me to connect with children and make learning fun. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or address any issues. With a graduate degree in education and coursework in early child development, I'm well-equipped to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, ages 0 to 11, and am proficient in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. In addition to playing educational games and board games, I also enjoy teaching children how to swim, as I'm a skilled swimmer. I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, and travel. With First Aid and CPR training, I prioritize the safety and well-being of the children in my care.
