About Luke

My name is Luke, I graduated medical school before getting to sick to finish getting a License. I thought I would go back to doing a side job I loved throughout college. I tutored a wide variety of science and math subjects. I was the sole recommended tutor for a wash out nursing course the three years I was there as I consistently improved their letter grade by one positive letter and never had a student fail if they saw me weekly. A large part of that is teaching students how to think critically, how to prep for tests, how to study, and how to stay motivated and mentally engaged with material when your brain tells you not to. I was a lab teacher for three years running a class of 30. I was a resource guide for three years to help people with academic probation and I cannot verify it, but my supervisor informed me before I graduated I had the highest success rate out of my peers. I made minimum wage at those two jobs. I took them because I simply love to teach.
