My background is in teaching school for over 15 years, all ages and subjects, mostly English, ESL, Music, Speech, and Drama. Since then I have been a writer for 17 years. I am certified in Special Education and have worked with teens lin foster care living in a group home. My interest is in Autism. I have been learning about it in recent years, and I am currently working part-time with local families. I raised two children, one who is adopted, and I have worked with children of all ages as a tutor, teacher, and mentor for most of my life. I'm very flexible and easy-going, and will take your specific needs very seriously. Houston has been home for over 30 years and I am extremely familiar with getting around Houston if your family member needs to be driven to activities.
