About Lucy

I'd describe my personality as fun, creative, and responsible. I like working with kids because they are so fun to be around and teach new things to. I just love to see them get excited when they learn a new skill or create something unique all by themselves! I started working with kids when I was about 13. Helping out at childcare day camps and in my mom's kindergarten class. I really started when I was 15 when I nannied I throughout the summer for a 3-month-old for 3 summers in a row, also babysat 2children in the evenings, one of which with special needs. I have also been a lifeguard and have been giving swim lessons since I was about 15 In my spare time, I like to do crafts, hang out with my friends, and Im a collegiate athlete so I do a lot of working out and swimming laps! One thing you should know about me is I am very energetic and I like to have the kids doing stuff like learning activities or crafts or playing instead of sitting them down on an ipad or in front of the tv.
