Hi! My name is Lucy, I'm 24 years old and am originally from Rhode Island. Over the years, I have held various positions where I became adept at fostering relationships, offering solutions, and communicating empathetically. I began working with kids when I was 15 years old, babysitting for neighbors, friends or family. Shortly after graduating from The University of Tampa, I began my position as an assistant preschool teacher, primarily working with children from 18 months to 2 years old. In June 2022, I moved to San Diego and started my role as a nanny for two children, 6 & 7 months old. I cared for both children for a year until they began daycare. In my roles as an early childhood educator and caretaker, I've fostered productive, inclusive and safe learning environments, while caring for, managing, and educating many tiny humans. Some hobbies of mine include pottery, exercising, traveling and cooking.

Lucy has been our nanny for our now 17 month old for the past year. During that time she's grown to be a part of our family. Aside from myself and my husband, there is no one I trust more to care for my son. She's been with us through some major developmental challenges and milestones and has been instrumental in providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment to allow our son to thrive. She is open and collaborative in working through the unique circumstances caring for an infant and now young toddler brings and is the first to celebrate the wins. Her communication, commitment, energy, and overall character and unmatched. It has been a truly impossible decision and goodbye as we move our son into preschool and I know Lucy's next family will be the luckiest family around to have her as their nanny.
