About Lucy

For the year I have nannied for 2 families. The first had 4 kids, two of whom I cared for regularly although on multiple occasions I did watch all 4 kids. When my position started the kids were 3 weeks- 7 y/o. The second family I worked with had a 5 m/o child whom I cared for. With this child I spoke primarily in Spanish. With both families I was big on reading and imaginative play, and not so much on screen time. Also, I was responsible for meals and nap times. Prior to that I worked for the nonprofit. I worked with 0-3 yo in an early childhood education classroom of 16 kids. In this position I worked to help implement a curriculum to aid the children's language development, fine and gross motor skills, as well as social emotional and self helps skills. I was also involved in feeding, nap time, story time, outdoor play, and music time. I love working with kids of all ages and find it to be such a privilege to help them foster their curiosity, learn, and grow.
