I'm an energetic 57-year-old. I've raised and homeschooled four wonderful children. My degree is in Child Development with an emphasis on Child Life. I did a couple of internships in day care settings for my degree, and worked in church nurseries. However, I feel like my experience mothering my own children counts the most! I'm looking for positions that are a few hours to several weeks or reoccurring engagements. Examples: your sitter is on vacation or out sick, perhaps you need someone for several hours for errands or date night. I enjoy board games, drawing, crafts, reading, and exploring nature with children. I'm learning ASL. However, I'm far from fluent at the moment. A little about myself: I like to read, hike, travel, and take care of my dogs. I'm looking forward to meeting your family!
