For 2 years I also helped care for my great grandmother who had dementia. I became a cna in 2014. I've worked with clients with many different illnesses and conditions in different types of facilities, mostly home care but also have worked in long-term care, group homes, and assisted living facilities. Lucretia became my dad's best friend. She gave him love, kindness, and support during his battle with cancer. She held us together with her positivity and her confidence in her skills to care for him. I don't know where we would have been without her.
