About Me: I am passionate about ensuring children a safe & nurturing environment to learn about themselves and the world around them. The perfect family fit would agree outside time is important, the best way to learn is through play and allowing children creative freedom. I practice conscious discipline, though I believe the most important thing is to stay on the same page as you, the parents! Qualifications: -First Aid & CPR certified including infant and toddler -Lead teacher in Reggio Emilia inspired toddler classroom. We practiced conscious discipline & spent time learning through play outside rain or shine. I planned and lead lessons based on current interests in the classroom, using our garden & natural materials as often as possible (examples available) -6+ years of babysitting experience (8mo-6yrs) including overnight care, group play date/sleepover supervision, providing activities, & cooking -STARS Basic Training, a certification for Washington state childcare professionals
