About Lucille

I'd describe my personality as positive, trustworthy and kind. I like caring for seniors because I like making a positive impact on their lives which also gives me a great sense of purpose and fulfillment. I started caring for seniors while working my way through college as a nurse's aide in a skilled nursing facility. I also worked in respiratory care and pulmonary sleep medicine with seniors in a hospital and clinic setting. But the majority of my eldercare experience was owning and operating a non-medical senior home care agency for nearly 17 years. I was a certified senior advisor and care transitions coach as well as an educator on managing behaviors and encouraging engagement for those affected by dementia. On a personal note, I cared for my mother who had Alzheimer's disease for 15 years. One thing you should know about me is I will treat your loved one the way I would treat my own parents - with patience, respect and compassion.
