At 16 years old I completed DIF National Caregiver & 1st Aid Courses. At 18, I took care of my grandmother. I took care of my parents through many disabilities. I took care of my husband's disabled parents until they passed away. I have been working with the elderly for over 22 years. I have provided home help, companionship, meal prep, laundry, shopping, changing clothes, bathing, & transportation to appointments. If they have any personal needs or a situation where they need a helping hand, I am there for them. I enjoy helping seniors regain their independence. If the person isn't ready for an assisted living arrangement, I help to keep them from going early. The transition as one ages can be frustrating as you lose the ability to do things for yourself. I hope to bring some of the freedom that was lost back to them & help them to enjoy life & relax. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like more information. Have documented references available.

Five stars are simply not enough for this woman! A few years ago, my mother, who lived with us at the time, had a severe stroke. Having three young children, I thought we’d never find the right person who could seamlessly blend into our loud and very rambunctious household to help care for her—until Lucy. Lucy was with us for two and half years and was exceptional in every way. She was remarkably dedicated, compassionate, and professional. She consistently went above and beyond what was asked of her and always gave her full attention to detail. Her ability to manage my mother's complex medical needs, including medication management, physical and speech therapy routines, lifts and transfers, bathing and toileting, dressing, as well as meal prep and dietary needs, laundry, and companionship was extraordinary. One of Lucy's most outstanding qualities was her unwavering patience and kindness. She had a unique ability to connect with my mother on a personal level, providing not just physical care but emotional support as well. Her compassionate approach significantly improved my mother's quality of life. In addition to her caregiving skills, Lucy has excellent organizational abilities and maintained detailed notes of any concerns she might have had regarding my mother’s health status. She was also highly reliable, always punctual, and flexible to help accommodate any changes or emergencies. But above all, Lucy is simply love, and a gift not just to those who are in need of her care, but also to the families who find themselves in what seems to be a hopeless situation. Lucy was an invaluable asset to our family, and has become part of our family. Her commitment to providing high-quality care for my mother brought us immense peace of mind, knowing that she was in capable and caring hands. Unfortunately, we are no longer in need of Lucy's care and our entire family will greatly miss her presence in our home and the love she shared with each of us. She is truly the best of the best.
