I am an Elementary/Middle & SPED teacher that teaches at Pss. Also, I was a camp counselor for 4 summers and Girl S leader for about 4 years. I have completed 4 internships in all types of classrooms & have done 1-on-1 tutoring of all subjects. I have worked/taught for about 2 months in direct contact with autism spectrum k-4th graders. I tutored 3 children from the same family in math for 1 1/2 years. I have worked with both adults and children with ADD/ADHD teaching and tutoring them. I have day-to-day experience with ADD & schizophrenia through my older brother and ADHD, anxiety, & Autism with my niece. I worked previously with students with all types of special needs; deaf, hard-of-hearing, blind, mute, bipolar, etc. I would just need to know what the child's needs are to fully be able to help them.
