About Lucia

I have 5 years of experience as a babysitter/nanny. During the pandemic I was a full-time nanny to siblings ages 4 and 8; I oversaw the older child's remote schooling and helped him with homework. For the younger child, I created an ad-hoc Pre-K that a couple of her friends also participated in. I am a filmmaker and a visual artist, and I love engaging in creative activities with the children I care for. I also play piano and sing, so creating music is something else I enjoy sharing with the children. The parents I've worked for will confirm that I go above and beyond the expectations of my job. In fact, my last employers called me "the modern day version of Mary Poppins." I remain close to the children I've cared for and visit them when I can. Because I'm young (a recent college grad), the children appreciate my youthful spirit and energy. I also love being active. I enjoy playing sports, taking walks, and going to the park. I am a great cook and would be happy to assist with meals.
