About Lou

Hello! My name is Lou and I am an experienced environmental educator eager to return to nannying. I began nannying with two elementary kids when I was in high school, driving them home and helping with homework. In the past few years, I worked at a middle school as a garden educator, teaching middle schoolers how to grow and cook food while connecting with the natural world. Some highlights of my time as a garden educator were spending time playing games outdoors, writing, and building new garden structures with the kids. I have also worked as a tutor for elementary-aged students, teaching math and science skills. Now, I work on an organic vegetable production farm and am hoping to supplement my time by nannying! My goals as a caregiver are to be attentive to the parents' requests and kids' needs while fostering a connection with the kids I work with. Personally, I love to dance, cook, read memoirs, and bike. I hope to bring a caring, supportive, and creative dynamic into your home.
