Hello, I am a mature mother of 3 adult children. I was a Special Education Teacher and taught English/Reading. I also worked in an emergency psych unit . I enjoy children of all ages. Due to my experience , I am able to engage children and have techniques to calm children who may suffer from anxiety or have special needs or learning disabilities. I am also capable of assisting with homework and transporting your child to extracurricular activities. I also believe physical outlets are important, I like to take children out for walks . I hired Louise to pick up my nephew from daycare 5 days a week. she went above and beyond her duties, to ensure my nephew was engaged and not just watching TV. To my surprise she read to him , did arts and crafts and actually worked on reading skills. Louise is a mature , former educator with 3 adult children. I feel as though we struck gold in finding such a babysitter. Although , she is much more than a babysitter to us.
