For the past two years I have been a care giver and companion to a 12-year-old girl with Down Syndrome. I arrive at her home in the morning when her mom leaves for work and make sure she gets up and gets ready for school; then I drive her in. I also provide occasional respite care in the afternoon or evenings. Prior to this position I drove a van for a dance academy, picking up students after school and taking them to the afternoon enrichment program. I have also driven a bus for several senior centers. I am seeking a position as a caregiver and driver for either a senior or for school ager children.
