I had her over for an interview and decided to trial her for a day afterward. We agreed on a rate and I paid her as soon as she left at 3:15pm. She started texting me at 11pm that night harassing me for my payment and calling me a penny pincher and insulting me. She was extremely unprofessional and said she wouldn't do the rest of the dates I had already planned on her for, leaving me in huge bind. Shes mad I paid her at our agreed rate and stated I should be more generous and give her extra like all her other families do. I also did further background checks on her and most of her information she gave me did not match up at all. I stopped responding to her rude texts because it was midnight and it was very clear she was under the influence because the texts were all jumbled and didn't make sense and spellings made no sense. She continued to text my phone until 1 am even though I wasn't responding. She had mentioned 3 times money was tight for her and I feel like she was trying to scam me for extra money and I think she takes advantage of young moms bc she kept saying she's 59 and a much more reliable sitter then all of the young girls on this site. I felt extremely uncomfortable with her texts and then at 1:00am she's telling me she's coming over again the next day to put gifts in my mailbox and it all made no sense. She's extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I was even so kind while she was insulting me and said we could discuss a different rate and she acted very childish in her responses and never even tried to professionally discuss this.
