In my professional capacity, I have had the privilege of working with individuals possessing unique needs, including an eighth-year-old with a speech delay, a 20-year-old non verbal, 9-year-old on the spectrum and a 5-year-old diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, particularly facing challenges in social interaction. My approach involves employing positive reinforcement techniques alongside structured speech activities tailored to their respective requirements. I have established enduring relationships with both families, providing consistent care and support. As a caregiver, I prioritize patience and dedicate sufficient time to acquaint myself with each individual's preferences and capabilities. Over time, I gradually introduce activities beyond their comfort zones, in accordance with parental preferences, to facilitate holistic growth and development.
