About Lorrie

I was a caregiver for my grandmother, my dad and then my mom. This spanned a total of 10 years. My grandmothers condition was related to Cerebrovascular accident (CVA), my father had pulmonary fibrosis, and my mother currently resides in assisted living with Alzheimer s disease due to the significant advancement of her disease. From August 2010 up until September 7, 2012, I took care of and stayed at the hospital with my daughter who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, that surely taught me various medical situations to deal with. She earned her wings on September 7, 2012 at the age of 14. I love the outdoors, animals, playing games, arts and crafts, music and reading.
