I have been a Registered Nurse for 35 (almost 36) years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Fort Hays State University. The majority of my career (approximately 32 years) has been spent working with infants. Approximately 25 years have been spent specifically in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a bedside nurse, a relief charge nurse, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and as a NICU Case Manager. I have also worked as a night nanny for a company that provided multiple services, including sleep training for newborns. Although I was not directing the details of the training program, I was implementing them with my clients as their nighttime caregiver. I have come to know that delivering needed care to babies and their parents at this very special time in their lives is a true privilege and blessing.

Lorrie is truly a blessing. She is more than a nanny- she is a part of our family! Lorrie started working with our family when my daughter was about 3 months old. At that time my husband and I were both working 80+ hours per week with odd hours in the medical field during a pandemic but thanks to Lorrie we NEVER have had to worry about the care of our daughter. True to her extensive nursing background she logs how many dirty diapers, bottles/ounces each day, and she easily handled the added complications/responsibilities associated with our daughter's hip harness. She even helped make sure my daughter's weight stayed on track! She is punctual and always prepared. More than that - Lorrie is sweet and loving to our baby girl who has thrived under her care! We look forward to spending more time with Lorrie but know she will be a blessing to any family who gets the chance to work with her. Thank you Lorrie!
