I took care of my husband and best friend during their fight with cancer. I administered their hospice meds under the supervision of hospice nurses until they passed. Prior to this I took care of my mother the last 5 years of her life. She had dementia. I moved her from NC to Texas where we lived at that time. I volunteered in between at Grayson Place, Denison, TX and Beacon Hill, Denison TX. At Grayson Place, I supervised kitchen and filled in as needed and managed activities. I assisted with activities at Beacon Hill and visited shutins when time allowed. I have a special place in my heart for our seniors.
