I recently retired from a professional career and enjoy companion time with seniors. I enjoy crafts, watercolor painting, walks, gardening, outings, and can help with meals, light housekeeping, and errands. I cared for my own Mom after she had a stroke and could no longer speak and, later, looked after and advocated for my Dad after he had a serious automobile accident until he passed at the age of 94. Due to his injuries, he could no longer walk. I would spend many hours with him and take him out for errands, restaurants, doctor appointments, family activities, etc. I understand the importance of care for aging parents and would find it rewarding to help another family.
